What had appeared to be a wall… was a door.
Beyond the doorway was a short passage that led into a shockingly vast space.
Who knows how long it had been since this place last operated properly?
Now, with the machinery reactivated, the interior lit up.
Inside were rows upon rows of shelves.
What stood out most was just how long and tall those shelves were.
It looked like a warehouse near the docks, piled high with shipping containers—so tall and dense that if any of it collapsed, it would be a disaster.
There was no way to estimate how much inventory this place held at a glance.
"This might be… an entire hill-sized warehouse. Maybe this wasn't originally a hill at all, but rather a structure buried over time by wind-blown soil," Mariel speculated.
"Incredible… the scale is unbelievable," Cloche murmured in awe.
Both were stunned by the sudden discovery, unsure how to react.
For Mariel in particular, the shock hit hardest.
