Chapter 396: Di Jun's Arrogance
Since Di Jun (Emperor Jun) dared to come here looking for trouble, it was clear he didn't take Ye Tian seriously at all. And since that was the case, Ye Tian naturally had to teach him a lesson and put him in his place.

Why had his strength increased so drastically?

With that, Di Jun stomped the ground and shot into the air. His speed was so fast it was nearly invisible to the naked eye.
"Impressive strength," Ye Tian muttered, watching Di Jun's charge without moving.
Ye Tian wanted to test Di Jun's raw physical power, so he didn't dodge. He stood still, watching Di Jun barrel toward him, his trajectory clear as day.
Seeing Ye Tian remain motionless only fueled Di Jun's rage. It made him believe Ye Tian truly didn't take him seriously.
"You see me charging at you and still don't move? You really think I'm nothing? Then DIE!"
Boom!
Di Jun's entire body became a living weapon, slamming directly into Ye Tian and driving him deep into the ground. Dust and debris exploded into the air.
Di Jun climbed out of the massive crater, throwing his head back in laughter. "Ha! So much for acting tough! Look at you now—dead and buried!"
His strike had been brutally powerful, and he was convinced Ye Tian couldn't have survived it.
But then something happened that left him stunned.
Ye Tian climbed out of the pit, brushing dust off his clothes as if nothing had happened.
If he hadn't activated his Golden Body in time, that last attack could have been fatal. But as it stood, he was unharmed.
"Hmph, you're definitely strong. But did you really think that would be enough to kill me?"
"No… this can't be! That last hit was my full strength—no one should've survived that! How are you still alive, completely unscathed? I refuse to believe there's someone this strong in this world!"
"I'm standing right here in front of you. And you still can't believe it?"
By now, Ye Tian's strength had reached a level that Di Jun simply couldn't comprehend.
