Chapter 394: Longevity Elixir
Ye Tian hadn't expected the former Jade Emperor to have hidden his true strength. The power he now displayed was on par with that of the Buddha himself!
Faced with such strength, Ye Tian had no choice but to go all out. Earlier, his defeat was due to underestimating his opponent—an embarrassing slip-up. Now, his heart burned with defiance. As long as there was even the slightest chance, he was determined to find a way to defeat the Jade Emperor.
"Heaven and Earth Sword!"
With a wave of his hand, Ye Tian summoned a massive flying sword from the heavens. It descended with incredible force, slashing straight at the Jade Emperor. Startled by Ye Tian's sudden surge of power, the Jade Emperor swiftly dodged.
"Boom!"
The powerful strike landed right in front of the Golden List Livestream room, sending shockwaves through the area. At that moment, the livestream announced that it could no longer tolerate disruptions.
"If anyone dares to cause further trouble, all their rewards will be revoked!"
"Stop now!"
Ye Tian snorted coldly and said, "Jade Emperor, you got lucky this time. Next time I see you, I won't go easy on you."
The Jade Emperor, equally indignant, retorted, "Is that so, Ye Tian? Don't think of yourself as invincible. I am the leader of Heaven itself! You'd do well to show me some respect!"
The Golden List Livestream continued.

Transformation List – 8th Place: Sun Wukong!
Sun Wukong hadn't expected to rank eighth. Though he had secured a spot, a twinge of disappointment lingered. To him, eighth place was hardly impressive.
"Only eighth?" he muttered.
"Eighth Place Reward: The Taiji Halo — a magical treasure that can ensnare enemies, tightening its hold until they are completely immobilized."
Hearing this, Sun Wukong couldn't help but chuckle. "This is just like the tightening headband on my head, but instead of trapping someone's head, this can wrap around their entire body!"
Ye Tian approached him and said, "Congratulations on ranking eighth."
Sun Wukong crossed his arms and grumbled, "What's there to congratulate? I was aiming for first place. Eighth is terrible luck!"
"This has nothing to do with luck," Ye Tian replied. "It's about strength. If you weren't strong enough, then eighth is the best you could get."
"Hah! So you look down on me too?"
"Not at all," Ye Tian said calmly. "If you truly want first place, then train harder. I believe you have what it takes to do even better next time."
Sun Wukong's eyes narrowed. "You really mean that?"
"Of course I do."
Ye Tian wasn't one for empty flattery. He knew Sun Wukong's immense potential. With dedicated training, there would be few in this world who could rival him—Ye Tian excluded, of course. After all, Ye Tian didn't belong to the world of Journey to the West; he had come from beyond. In a true match between them, even Ye Tian wasn't certain who would emerge victorious.

Transformation List – 11th Place: Earth Deity!
"Haha! I actually made it onto the list!"
The Earth Deity was overjoyed. He'd never thought of himself as particularly skilled at transformations—his earth escape technique was about as far as it went. Yet, here he was, ranked eleventh!
"Eleventh Place Reward: One Longevity Elixir!"
Given his old age, this was the perfect reward. With this elixir, he could extend his life, a priceless gift.
But not everyone was pleased.
"This is unfair! How could the Earth Deity get eleventh place?"
The crowd buzzed with discontent. To them, the Earth Deity was a low-ranking god tied to a specific region—hardly someone worthy of such a high placement. The Transformation List had only 100 slots, and yet he had secured the eleventh spot. Naturally, this sparked outrage.
The Golden List issued a warning:
"If anyone is dissatisfied, step forward. But be warned—anyone who does will lose their right to participate further!"
A heavy silence followed. Though many still harbored resentment, none dared speak up. The risk was simply too great.
Beaming with pride, the Earth Deity laughed, "See? Even if you're upset, what can you do? My reward is mine! With this Longevity Elixir, I'll live another ten thousand years!"
Someone sneered, "Don't celebrate too soon. You're not exactly powerful. Better hope no one tries to steal it!"
"Hah! Steal it? Let's see who dares!"
With that, he swallowed the elixir in one gulp.
---
"Owww!"
Moments later, the Earth Deity clutched his stomach, writhing in pain and rolling on the ground.
"Is he dying?" someone gasped.
"He swallowed it without checking the instructions! No wonder he's in pain!"
Guanyin picked up the instructions and read aloud, "The Longevity Elixir isn't meant for consumption. It's for bathing. Dissolve it in water to create a rejuvenating hot spring that extends life when soaked in."
The crowd was dumbfounded.
"He ate it directly? No wonder he's suffering!"
"Will he survive?"
The Golden List chimed in once more:
"He'll be fine—just in pain for a while. However, the elixir's effects will be greatly reduced. Let this serve as a warning: always read the instructions before using any treasure or technique. Recklessness can lead to unnecessary consequences."
"Makes sense!" the crowd murmured in agreement.
