When the carriage came to a halt, the door swung open, and Wolfgang jumped out enthusiastically.
Maverick couldn't help but smirk at the boy's boundless energy. He stepped forward, extending a hand when he noticed Theresa preparing to descend.
She glanced at his outstretched hand and took it with ease, allowing Maverick to assist her down.
"Welcome back," Maverick greeted warmly.
