Arthur, like everyone else, had heard of the game and was as excited as everyone else to try it, if not even more. With how much he grew bored of his life on earth, this fantasy world was like the divine call he had been searching for. However, there was a very small problem.


He had no money to buy the machine required to access Divinity Online. His wretched life had turned him into a broke teenager with no parents, and no relatives. But, by some kind of luck, he got his hands on one of those machines.

"What's happening, sir?" Germa frowned as he quickly ordered everyone to step back. Everyone started to panic seeing that, especially the man's family, who didn't know what to do at that moment seeing their loved one in such immense pain.


Meanwhile, the black matter continued oozing out of the man's body, slowly spreading across the rest of it. From his arms to his torso, then the rest of his limbs like a plague taking over weak prey.


"Shit…" Arthur cursed as he quickly looked around. "Get out of the way! Don't get close to him! He's changing!"
