The demon crawled on her eights around the statue as she mocked Kael with her eyes.
"She's yours?" the demon asked deliriously. "Now I'm wondering what she can offer that is better than what I give to you."
Kael rubbed his tongue over his lips. He was being too emotional, the same reason the Devil had been able to win, the same reason he was about to lose in this path of hell too. And it worried him.
"Is she here in hell? I'd love to meet her... to know who she'd choose. You or my golden rain," the demon slipped down, rolling her body on the ground as it wrapped up the gold dust, making her body glitter as she rolled.
She stopped rolling, propping her face up with her hands while her legs kicked behind her. Her voice returned to the small girl's tone as she spoke.
"I really want to know her... the one who belongs to you. She is your weakness, no?"
Kael gritted his teeth. He'd just slipped, making this demon have Jacquelyn's name in her mouth. Ignoring the demon, he continued.
