"Game of Truth?" Kael repeated. Before he could say another word, a stack of black cards appeared on the table, seven in front of Kael and the rest in front of The Devil.
"You're wise, aren't you, Kael?" The Devil mused, picking up his own card. Then he smiled. "You'll understand the game soon, so no instructions needed."
Kael tapped his fingers on his cards. He didn't have a good feeling about it, but he went ahead and picked them up.
"If you want an extra card... you'll need to wager something more," The Devil grinned, now assuming the face of a boy, very young, the same age as Chaos. "But I'll require something more substantial."
Kael stared at the cards momentarily, then blinked. When he looked up, the young boy was staring at him with a smug smile.
