As they had expected, James was unable to pierce through Leon's defense. Even though Leon himself failed to land any critical hits or anything like that, but he was able to defend well in front of James.
After a few tit for tat, the two of them finally retreated and stopped.
James used up his entire mana and then the weapons dropped. It was clear that his mana was no longer enough to support the weapon. He looked at Leon and then said, "Your mana has increased."
Unlike the White Family who could use their crystal eyes to look at other people's mana pool, James used the Ruler Family's sensitivity towards mana to notice that Leon's mana had increased compared to three days ago. It was because of this that Leon still had some mana to spare while James was exhausted.
