A deep rumbling chuckle sounds from all around the soul "You die and your first though is on your vision? I like you already little mortal." The chuckling turn into booming laughter "Tell you what little soul, originally I was just going to trow you into a universe with random gifts but you have amused me, so I will let you choose your boons yourself. Be as descriptive as you want to be, I will tell you if it's to much."
The soul shivers at the loud voice it's very essence rapidly strengthening to withstand the pressure it emanates "If I were to guess you'd be a higher dimensional existence like an outer god, so for safety reasons I'm just gonna call you O.G., assuming your name would rip my soul apart like some stories say. I have a question before I state my wishes, is this for some grand quest or for amusement? Depending on your answer I have to alter some variables like the amount of power I start with and the ease of obtaining more strength, plus it would be very nice of you to tell me where I'm headed."
The laughter booms even louder "This is purely for my entertainment little soul, I have chosen to copy the world of another outer god, as you call us, to copy and send you to. I believe in your world it was known as 'Marvel', but don't worry you'll have enough strength to survive there if you actively participate in the plot I'll make sure of that."
"Thank you for the info, if you don't mind I'd like a few... minutes? I don't think time as I perceived it exists here, anyway I would like a few minutes to think if you don't mind." The soul says already mulling over abilities from different fictional works and some own ideas to ask for.
"Think well little soul and be prepared to be thrust into a life you might even find enjoyable." The voice states before going quiet.
After thinking for a while the soul finally decides and says "I have three ideas prepared, but I am unsure if they would be to your liking. My first wish is a non-sentient system based on the Monster Hunter franchise, that would let me track my progress, supply me with equipment and provide ingredients to craft said equipment through instance dungeons that put me into a kind of mirror world that takes the surrounding area for a few tens of kilometers and turns it into a biome filled with insects, ore, plants and monsters to loot and hunt."
The voice is quite before finally saying "If you agree to add quest that get generated or sometimes issued by me if I find a good source of entertainment or just want to push you into an amusing direction it is agreeable."
"I see now issue with that, you give me the chance to live again as such it should be the least to try to keep you entertained as is the whole reason for this." The soul metaphysically nods "My second wish would be control over the elements and sub elements with a mix of bending from the Avatar franchise and breathing techniques from Demon Slayer, the bending for the outside the body control and the breathing for body strengthening for example."
"If you agree for that to be a skill you have to learn from the ground up and not know as a basic instinct, that is easily doable." The Entitys voice answered immediately.
"I can live with that, what is power without the necessary will to wield it after all. Now for my third and most outrageous request in my own opinion, I'd like a perfect symbiote, meaning no weaknesses and perfectly compatible with me, that is loyal only to me and is highly adaptive to environmental factors and gives me a higher comprehension of learnable skills."
