Shika wasn't in a good mood, it's already been 4 days and there was no response from his Rabbits about the location of the Hidden Waterfall Village. He knew that it would be troublesome to find that village but dang…
'Or maybe, I'm just looking in the wrong place…' Shika wondered to himself. His rabbits could only cover the ground area after all and couldn't distinguish a Genjutsu if the entire place was in one.
'A Byakugan user right now would be a boon…' Shika can't help but mutter to himself with disappointment. Unfortunately had no byakugan user in his team.
Though, he can always go back to Sasuke and ask whether he ever took the mission to the hidden waterfall like that one filler suggested in Naruto, however, he didn't want to do that. Now this was more of a personal test for him than anything to find out where that damn village was.
After two days of searching when his rabbits didn't find anything, he called them back. They were just burning his Curse Energy for no reason, with the number of rabbits he had, it was not hard to look around the entire land of hidden Waterfall. The country wasn't that big, two days was enough for thousands of Rabbits to look around the entire place pretty easily.
It was clear that the village wasn't on land, or at least not anywhere where a mere rabbit could go. So it left underground and up in the skies.
This wasn't one piece so he outright dropped the latter from his mind. This leaves only underground….
It's honestly strange how he can summon some of his Shikigami in numbers, as long as he has Curse Energy, but not all of them. Some ordinarily Shikigami like Rabbits and Toads can be summoned in multiple but not power Shikigami like the Serpent or Ox.
He summoned toads to search underwater as he currently lacks any Shikigami who could dig the ground. And that was two days ago, so it was understandable that he was in a bad mood. If he can't find that bloody village even underwater, he might as well declare the hidden waterfall village destroyed by some unknown forces.
But just as he was about to do that, or might even summon the Ox and start making him drill all the rocks and mountains he could find in his slight, just in case they were hiding in one of those, he suddenly got a response. This was from one of his toads.
"Those sneaky bastards…." Shika grumbled sensing where the toad single came. It came from the inside of the giant cliff there.
He quickly summons Nue again for the umpteen time and takes it to the skies. From the skies, it was hard to find out but now since his toad pointed it out, he could feel the arrangement of those trees was really strange. From the skies, above the cliff, could see a forest, the entire place was covered with it, nothing new to him, he had spent the last 4 days flying over this entire place. But only now he was able to identify the strange circular gap between the trees in the middle of the forest, no one could figure that out, even from the skies it could be really hard. Just like him, he completely missed it even with his Sharingan.
"My best guess is that that gap is there for the village wall. It can't be anything else." Shika muttered to himself and then finally moved closer.
Now knowing where he needed to go, he had to figure out how to make contact with Fuu, and how to convince her.
"Nue, drop me there…" Shika didn't plan to outright enter in the village, he rather not directly drop down on a hidden village with legendary eye's, staring at those beneat him like god.
'This world shall know… Lazy….'
Shaking his head, he shook out useless thoughts from his mind and got moving.
Or so that he thought, he soon realized why those rabbits didn't find the hidden village. The village was created inside the cliff, not on top of it, in the forest.
That circular gap in the forest wasn't the wall of the village, they didn't need it, rather it was ventilation for the underground hidden villages.
'This is too much, just how much paranoid one has to be to make a village inside a freaking cliff. It wasn't an underground base we were talking about but an entire village. How crazy one has to be to do this?
'Sigh, let go back, it seems like I can only enter through the water channel from underground water channel… " Shika thought but then suddenly like a light bulb lit up inside his head, he grinned.
'Rinnegan teleportation required at least some degree of knowledge about where he wants to go and where that person is, or he could go pretty much everywhere.
Earlier he didn't know where exactly the village was but now since he have the location, why now just…
A smile appeared on his face and his eyes transformed from his normal black to blue Rinnegan. Opening a portal in front of him.
He tries not to use this technique too much, any sort of space-time jutsu costs too much chakra. He was not Minato Kamikaze or Obito Uchiha to bend the space at his will for hours in a fight. His chakra limit was smaller than theirs.
Maybe I should use my last Promotion to target someone with a lot of chakra.

The days went by and both Guren and Kimimaro were getting impatient. Finding the black market wasn't hard, but getting the whereabouts of the most famous assassin of the black market was.
"Are you sure that he will come here ?" Kimimaro asked her as both of them found themselves hiding on top of a tree, hiding far away from the entrance of the pub.
This was actually a hidden entrance to the underground area where the info dealers from the black market thrived.
A few days earlier, they disguised themselves and put up and bounty for a random famous Shinobi, making sure that the bounty was high enough and so the strength of the target.
Knowing that finding Kakuzu in the elemental could be like finding a decent girl in a strip club, they approach the other way around. Having money with them, thanks to Shika's generous allowance, they decided to lure the immortal out of his cave, rather than running behind him.
Maybe hitting his great great great disciple could have helped, they certainly have to handle everyone in between the food chain to reach the final boss in that case.
Shame this wasn't a cultivation world and flocking money was far more effective, especially against someone like Kakuzu.
"I don't know, but it was enough money to surely attract that guy's attention, with how much Shika empathise that that guy likes money, he surely would take the bait." Guren muttered to herself, in this regard, she was better than Kimimaro.
While Kimimaro was practical, stronger, great at one-on-one fighting and had experience.
She was more cunning and had more brains out of the two.
"And why do you care, it's not like it's our money, Shika is paying. That guy is loaded…" Guren smiled deviously. If Shika were here he might have immediately demoted her from her position.
"Sigh… hope he comes." Kimimaro didn't bother rectifying his partner's utter lack of respect for both money and the person who gave it to them. Part of the reason was becuase he knew that it was pointless.
"What about his partner ?" Asked Kimimaro, though Shika made sure that the real danger was always Kakuzu with his years of experience and his strange jutsu. He repeatedly told them not to underestimate any of the members of Akatsuki, especially when we were talking about a team duo. They are a team for a reason.
"You wanna take him…" Guren took out dango from somewhere and started munching on them. Even pushing the stick towards Kimimaro, offering him some.
"No, you are a better match for Hidan, let me handle Kakuzu…" Kimimaro shooked his head, dening both Danzo and fighting Hidan, he knew Guren was strong but he was stronger.
"… you just want to fight the stronger one, don't you." Guren snorted, narrowing her eyes, and glaring at Kimimaro.
"That's not it, remember what Shika told, that Hidan guy, he's immortal, even cutting off his limbs might not stop him. I can immobilise him by piercing his body with my bones but that might not work.
Your crystal is better suited in this regard. Not to mention, Shika said not to let that Hidan guy get our blood, remember. Most of my techniques are close range." Kimimaro analysed and calmly said. Not telling her that he indeed wanted to fight Kakuzu more.
What Kimimaro said was logical and no matter how Guren thought about it she couldn't refuse it.
"Tsk, fine…
I'll handle that Hidan guy… but only if it comes to one on one fighting." Guren grumbled but agreed.
"Sure, it's most likely won't come to that, if the plan work out then we can simply gang up on them, one by one…"

I might take a little hiatus since from now on the story will no go as cannon and I might need to take some time to figure out what and how I'll be writing it. Maybe !
