Nanaya Shiki is an individual with a unique heritage from the Nanaya Clan, a legendary demon-hunting family in the world of Type-Moon.
Although he currently lives under the name Tohno Shiki, he is essentially a direct descendant of Nanaya Kiri, the last leader of the nearly extinct Nanaya Clan.
The Nanaya Clan is a family of demon hunters known for their fast and efficient killing techniques.
They trained their bodies to achieve speed and reflexes beyond normal human limits, allowing them to hunt down and kill demons, vampires, and other supernatural beings.
However, the clan was slaughtered by the Tohno Clan, a family with demon blood, for being a threat.
Shiki, who was a child at the time, survived and was adopted by Tohno Makihisa, the head of the Tohno family
Now, the holder of the God's Eye of Life and Destruction comes face to face with the owner of the God's Eye of Death.
