At least, by observing further, El could learn that Dou Technique next time.
From the intensity of the Dou Qi deployed, the Thousand Flame Sword Blades seemed to be a high-level Xuan Dou Technique.
Without hesitation, El deactivated Susano'o, then extended his right hand forward. A cold voice sounded from behind his mask. "Shinra Tensei!"
In an instant, a tremendous repulsion wave exploded from his body, shaking the air, blowing away the surrounding sand and dust.
The Dou Technique that Yun Yun released was pushed back, as if losing strength.
Gu He immediately created a protective Dou Qi, his body held in place, resisting the impact of the attack.
On the other hand, Yun Yun reacted even faster. Like a sharp wind blowing, she instantly moved to dodge, traversing the energy storm with incredible speed.
Yun Yun's sword shot out with incredible speed, aiming for El's neck with killing intent.
However, El had anticipated the attack. With the Eye of Insight activated, the world in his vision slowed down, allowing El to read Yun Yun's every move.
One step back. The sword strike missed, splitting the air.
But Yun Yun did not stop. Her sword continued to dance, each swing getting faster and sharper, pushing El into a defensive position.
El frowned. He could have counterattacked, but he did not want to hurt his beloved Dajie.
However, Yun Yun was getting more aggressive. His sword slashes were so ferocious that El was forced to bring out the White Fire of Sky Pearl Poison, using that to deflect every attack.
"Honestly, I don't hesitate to put Gu He Group to death, but..." El thought as he continued to defend. "I can't bear to hurt Dajie."
Clang! Clang! Clang!
The sword blade met white flames, sparks of light scattered.
"How can I make Dajie just watch?" El muttered to himself, as he continued to exchange attacks.
Not far away, Gu He secured the still unconscious Yan Shi and Feng Li, slipping the Healing Pill into their mouths.
Meanwhile, his eyes kept watching the fierce battle between El and Yun Yun.
"He's only a 3-star Da Dou Shi... but his strength is truly extraordinary! Even able to rival Dou Huang," Gu He muttered with a serious expression.
However, suddenly, he sensed something in the distance. Yin Shi and Yue Mei, along with the other three Snake People Chieftains, had begun gathering large amounts of Dou Qi.
Gu He focused his spiritual perception, trying to understand what they were planning.
Through spiritual perception, Gu He saw clearly, Yue Mei and Yin Shi were uniting their Dou Qi, forming an attack that was aimed directly at El and Yun Yun!
"That's... It's bad!" Gu He exclaimed, his eyes widening.
Gu He wanted to move, but the distance was too great to be able to protect Yun Yun in time.
With a voice full of warning, Gu He shouted with all his might: "Sect Leader, quickly dodge!"
Gu He's voice suddenly echoed in the middle of the battle.
Yun Yun, who was focused on attacking El, reflexively turned her head, sensing a wave of overwhelming Dou Qi approaching at high speed.
However, her body, which was still in the momentum of the attack, could not immediately dodge.
"Damn it!" Yun Yun cursed softly from behind the cloth covering her face.
Just as the attack was about to hit them. Suddenly, a powerful repulsion slammed into her body, pushing her far back.
Yun Yun's eyes widened, surprised to find herself thrown out of the path of the attack unharmed.
For a moment, Yun Yun stared at El, full of shock. Meanwhile, behind his mask, El flashed a faint smile, clearly catching Yun Yun's scent of surprise.
In fact, even before Yun Yun realized the danger, El had already smelled the scent of ill will directed towards the two of them.
That was why, El used Shinra Tensei to knock Yun Yun away first, making sure the attack did not hit her as well.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
A thunderous boom sound like lightning shook the air. Dou Qi's energy attacks struck El with tremendous force, creating a violent shockwave that swept sand and dust in all directions.
From afar, Yun Yun landed smoothly on the sand, Dou Qi's wings glowing faintly as she remained hovering low. Her eyes were fixed on the thick puff of dust that enveloped El's figure.
However, it was not the impact of the attack that surprised him, but rather El's action of suddenly flinging him away right before the attack hit.
Yun Yun was certain that the masked man's action was not a coincidence, but intentional.
That feeling grew stronger as she recalled their fight. Throughout the exchange of attacks, not once did he sense any killing intent from his opponent.
Each of his slashes was only parried, without ever being countered.
If the masked person had intended to injure, he would have undoubtedly met the same fate as Yan Shi and Feng Li lying helpless on the sand.
Although Yun Yun used a level Dou Technique, it seemed too futile against the masked man. Because the masked man definitely had many strange Techniques that always managed to fend him off.
That realization created uneasiness in the woman's heart. Yun Yun frowned, her eyes still fixed on the puff of dust where El last stood.
"Who exactly is this person...?" murmured Yun Yun in a low tone.
Gu He immediately darted over to Yun Yun, a worried expression clearly plastered on his face. "Sect Leader, are you alright?" asked Gu He anxiously.
Yun Yun looked at Gu He for a moment, reading the worry in his eyes, then sighed softly. Calmly, she raised her right hand and replied, "I'm fine, don't worry."
Gu He exhaled a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness..." he murmured, feeling the weight on his chest ease a little.
However, not wanting to let his guard down, Gu He immediately turned his gaze forward, towards the puffs of dust and sand that were still soaring up, covering the spot where the attack had struck.
"Gu He, we are very grateful for fighting that person."
Yin Shi's old voice resounded through the air, breaking the silence.
Gu He and Yun Yun, who were still focused on the puffs of dust and sand, immediately turned their gaze to the sky.
Silence fell for a moment, before the two frowned, seeing the figures of Yin Shi and Yue Mei standing with the three chieftains of the Snake People, staring at them from above.
Mo Ba Shi, one of the Snake People's chieftains, stood at the front of the line.
His body was muscular, clad in thin clothes worn carelessly, revealing his powerful muscles.
Mo Ba Shi's arms were covered in mysterious-looking black tattoos, stretching down to his palms.
There, the tattoos formed two black-colored snake heads with ferocious eyes, as if ready to jump out of his skin at any moment.
From Mo Ba Shi's body, a fierce aura faintly seeped out, signaling a strength that could not be underestimated.
In both hands, Mo Ba Shi grasped the hilt of a large sword, ready to face anyone who dared to challenge him.
Yan Ci, the second chieftain of the Snake People, had a stocky stature with slightly dark skin, reflecting his endurance and physical strength.
His head was bald, giving off a fierce impression that was further enhanced by the fiery yellow eyes that seemed to intimidate anyone who dared to look at him.
He wears jet-black armor that is worn carelessly, adding to his aura of ferocity on the battlefield.
On both hands, he wore a pair of strange drill bit-shaped gloves, which seemed to function as weapons of destruction.
Nan She, the third chief, is different from his two counterparts.
His face had softer lines, giving it a slightly feminine feel compared to the other Snake People.
His long, bluish-purple hair falls gracefully down hid back, contrasting with his condescending gaze towards Gu He's group.
Nan She wears an elegant suit with a slim cut, which reflects his agility and intelligence in combat.
In hid right hand, Nan She held a fan, not just an accessory, but a deadly weapon that held unexpected power.
"As a token of our gratitude, we will let you go," Yin Shi said with a sardonic smile, his gaze fixed on Gu He.
