"The fun is just beginning," Kage said with an evil smile. "Come on, let's test our powers."
Ken and Nijin felt the dark forces within them as they stood before the Kage. Kage swung his scythe at Ken. Ken tried to dodge the attack using his time energy, but was left defenseless against the Kage's speed and strength. The sharp edge of the scythe grazed Ken's arm, leaving a deep wound. Kage smiled with devilish pleasure when he heard Ken's scream of pain.
"Is this your power?" Kage sneered. "You have to show more, or you won't survive." Ken saw the wild glint in the Kage's eyes as he tried to stop the blood flowing from his wound. This look reflected his dark and cruel nature.
Nijin attacked Kage using his void energy. His sword glowed with dark energy and he slashed towards the Kage. However, Kage easily deflected Nijin's attack with his scythe. He pierced Nijin's belly with the sharp tip of his scythe and knocked him to the ground. Nijin heard Kage's evil laugh as he writhes in pain.
"Is this your void power?" Kage sneered. "You're a disappointment. But that doesn't mean we're done having fun." Kage swung his scythe again, launching a series of deadly attacks at Ken and Nijin. Each attack further diminished their strength and deepened their wounds. Ken and Nijin were helpless against the Kage. The Kage grew stronger with each blow and fed off their pain.
Ken tried to create an energy shield around himself by speeding up time, but the Kage's attacks were too powerful. The blow of his scythe shattered Ken's shield, knocking him to the ground. "You are weak and helpless. This is not the way to survive in this world," Kage said, leaning over Ken.
While lying on the ground, Nijin tried to regain his void energy, but under the Kage's pressure, it was impossible to recover his strength. The Kage swung his scythe once more, inflicting a deep gash on Nijin's chest. Nijin's screams echoed like a sweet melody in Kage's ears.
"You're in pain, aren't you?" Kage asked with a devilish smile. "This pain will make you stronger. But first, you have to face this pain."
Ken and Nijin looked at Kage with eyes filled with pain. To become stronger, they decided to follow his path and become as strong as him. Kage saw their determination and stood up with an evil smile. "Then," he said, "follow me."
Using time energy, he returned to his body's previous state. His wounds and pain suddenly vanished, and Ken stood again as he was before the fight.
Kage couldn't hide his surprise when he saw Ken's body purify and heal from his wounds. Kage put his scythe aside and approached Ken and said, "Wow, what a nice technique!" he exclaimed. "I was delicate so that you wouldn't die. If I had known you had such a technique, I would have attacked harder."
"Techniques are just a part of it," Ken said when he heard Kage's words. "True strength comes with inner determination. Now, we have things to do to protect the city." Kage just laughed sarcastically at Ken's answer and said, "Your determination is really interesting. But first, let's finish this fun part. Let's go to the bar together, we can have more fun there."
Kage took Ken and Nijin to the bar. When they arrived at the bar, it was immediately obvious that the new bartender was quite attentive and intelligent. Kage placed his scythe on the table and looked at the bartender.
"Welcome," the bartender said coldly. "What do you drink?"
"We'd like to have a little chat," Kage said with a wry smile. "Ken and Nijin are busy with important work in this city. I want to get some rest too. Come on, bartender, tell us about Shadow."
The bartender took a deep breath and bowed his head in response to the Kage's request. with some fear and some determination in his eyes. "Shadow's place is here," he said, pointing at the panel with a finger. "If you're on the right track, you can open this panel. The shadow is hiding in the old underground passages of the city."
Ken and Nijin studied the panel given by the bartender. The bartender said, "Finding the location of the Shadow is not a simple task. "He's hiding in a really dark and dangerous place," he said, but there was a note of defiance as well as seriousness in his voice. "To find out that the Shadow is there requires not only courage, but a guide who knows how to navigate the darkness."
Kage responded to what the bartender said with a wry smile. "What a cute attitude. I'm surprised why someone as smart as you is here. Anyway, I'm ready to go to those old passages with Ken and Nijin. You two, if you want to find the Shadow hiding somewhere, come with me. That's where the real fun begins."
Taking Kage, Ken and Nijin with him, they headed towards the dark and dangerous passages of the city. The Kage's sarcastic and condescending attitude constantly encouraged them to go one step further.
Fire gleamed in the Kage's eyes as they entered the dark and dangerous passages. With evil pleasure in his voice. "Tonight will be the most fun you'll ever have in the dark."
