And after arriving at that place what exactly had happened, how Mani Ratnam got killed and how became the convict for that murder are still some unanswered questions the answers for which he is still looking for.
No matter how hard he is trying to find out the real answers he couldn't find anything and the only things which he was sure about is that someone is trying to blame him and also that staying inside the jail will not solve any of his problems.
While Karthik was struggling with his own questions and answers tussle, he heard a sound that brought him out of this tussle.

This sound was of a wooden kane hitting the metal bars and after hearing this sound when Karthik looked at the metal bars before him, he saw prison constable standing before him.
With a look of disgust the prison constable told Karthik, "Hey murderer someone is here to meet you. Come with me."
When Karthik heard that someone has come to meet him, a surge of happiness ran in his entire body as his mind thought about either his family or Ria or his friends might have come to meet him.
He immediately stood up and went towards the metal bars before him and holding the metal bars he asked the constable, "Who has come to meet me ?"
With a smile he asked this question but the constable didn't answered this question of his and just unlocked the door of Karthik's cell and after doing that the constable entered inside the cell and held Karthik from the back of his neck and dragged him out of the prison cell.
Soon the constable brought Karthik into a meeting room and left in that room alone and closed the room and before closing the door he said that Karthik has ten minutes to meet that person.
After the door got locked Karthik moved towards the meeting point which has metal net separating the room into two sides.
Standing near the metal net wall, Karthik saw the person who has come to meet him is standing with his back towards him and so he asked, "Who are you ?"
And after hearing this that person turned towards Karthik and after seeing that person Karthik became very surprised and said, "Muthyam garu what are you doing here ?"
Yes the person who has come to Karthik is none other than Maccha Muthyam himself.
With his smiling face Muthyam greeted Karthik and then he gave a card to Karthik which he took out from his bag and said, "Karthik babu here is the invitation card for you."
Karthik: "Invitation card ? For what ?"
Muthyam: "Obviously for marriage babu. This is invitation card for the marriage of your sister and Rahul babu."
Hearing this Karthik held the card in his hands as he became very emotional after seeing the name of his sister.
He began to think about the happiest moment of his sister's life which made him more emotional.
In his emotional state, Karthik folded his hands before Muthyam and told him, "Dhanyavadam Muthyam garu. Even if I am in this jail you brought this glint ray of happiness to me. Thank you so much."
Hearing him Muthyam gave his smile to him and said, "No problem babu. But don't you think that it is very unfair for you to be in this prison."
Karthik just agreed with his words as he held the metal net very tightly in his hand and said, "I just want to know who has done this cruel thing to me. Once I know about this I will destroy that person."
Hearing him, Muthyam once again gave his smile and said, "Then why are you waiting for do it now."
Karthik became confused and asked, "What do you mean Muthyam garu ?"
Muthyam: "It's really simple. Kill that person. Because the person who killed Mani Ratnam and put the blame on you and made you the killer is standing before you and your very eyes."
Karthik became very shocked after he processed the words of Muthyam while Muthyam continued his words and said, "Yes Karthik babu. I am the one who is responsible for you being in jail. I am the one who has killed Mani Ratnam and put the blame on you. And one more thing I am the one who has also killed your elder brother Ravi as well."
These words were very devastating for Karthik as he learned that his elder brother Ravi has been killed as well.
A very strong surge of anger and rage mixed with killing intent rushed through the body of Karthik as he held the metal net very tightly with the intention to tear it apart.
But knowing that he can't do it Muthyam gave him his smile and taunted him a little for his situation and then he said, "Now on the marriage day I will kill all of your family members."
Karthik thrashed his hands very angrily on the net but Muthyam continued to gave him the smile and asked him, "Don't you want to know why I did all of those things with you ?"
Karthik: "Why ?"
Muthyam: "Do you remember Deepak ?"
Karthik remembers Deepak very clearly and seeing his expression Muthyam said, "You remember him. Very good. Deepak whom you have beaten very badly and put him in the coma is my son. My own blood and flesh. You shouldn't have touched my son. And now for that sin yours your entire family will pay the price including the family of Jayaraj and Vasundhara. So just wait for the news of their deaths in this jail while you can't do anything and will rot in here for your entire life."
After saying this Muthyam waved him goodbye and left the sight of Karthik very slowly and soon Muthyam vanished in the darkness before the eyes of Karthik.
Karthik just shouted loudly to get him out of the prison and killing Muthyam but all of his shouting fall on the deaf ears as no one answered him and after sometimes the constable entered inside the room and dragged Karthik back into his cell.
Muthyam left the prison and entered inside the car and drove away from there and while driving away his entire appearance began to change and returned back to the original appearance of Jayaraj.
