Director Woody Allen said.
Link nodded, "I suspect this was Harvey's doing. He wanted to blow this up to infuriate the Oscars jury. On one hand, it sabotages me, and on the other, it could help the Weinstein Company's films win awards."
"Harvey's doing? How does this help his films win awards?"
Director Allen furrowed his brows.
"Simple! He creates this public opinion to anger the Oscars jury. The jurors are stubborn, and once infuriated, they actually become more supportive of British films to show that they won't be influenced by public opinion. Tactically speaking, it's a self-deprecating strategy to gain sympathy. It's foreseeable that this Oscars will again be Harvey's stage. Although he has many issues, he's indeed very skilled at PR for the Oscars," Link sighed.
