Director Woody Allen said.

Director Allen furrowed his brows.
"Simple! He creates this public opinion to anger the Oscars jury. The jurors are stubborn, and once infuriated, they actually become more supportive of British films to show that they won't be influenced by public opinion. Tactically speaking, it's a self-deprecating strategy to gain sympathy. It's foreseeable that this Oscars will again be Harvey's stage. Although he has many issues, he's indeed very skilled at PR for the Oscars," Link sighed.
