Su Shu opened her eyes amidst a nightmare, staring blankly at the worried eyes before her.
Tang Zelin's hand gently touched her cheek, his eyes deep.
"Having a nightmare?"
Su Shu paused for a moment, then nodded.
Her hand involuntarily rested on her abdomen, the sudden bulge in her dream deeply imprinted in her mind at this moment.
Seeing her stare at her own stomach, Tang Zelin was slightly puzzled.
"Stomachache?"
"No."
"Then..."
Su Shu raised her head, looking intently at the man's worried face.
Tang Zelin smiled faintly, "Staring at me like that in the middle of the night could easily lead to trouble."
Her face turned red, and she turned over to sit up.
Tang Zelin, concerned she might be cold, turned around to get the overcoat beside the bed to drape over her.
The heavy quilt was draped over their legs, and Tang Zelin sat with her for a while.
