Boom!
Haruno Sakura struck a blow, and half of Otsutsuki Isshiki's body was gone. His entire being fell into the sandy sea, barely clinging to life, his chakra dissipated throughout his body, losing most of his life force.
"I lost."
Lying amidst the sand, Otsutsuki Isshiki had a face not of anger or loss, but of calm, as though accepting his fate.
Haruno Sakura slowly floated down, watching Otsutsuki Isshiki take his last breath. She gathered his body, after all, it was an excellent subject for research.
Bodies of the Otsutsuki Clan were rare sights.
"Is it over?" Otsutsuki Sakura, accompanied by Deidara and Sasori, floated over and asked.
"It's over," Haruno Sakura nodded, "If he hasn't placed a wedge in someone else's body, he is truly dead."
"Do you think that's likely?"
"Not likely."
Sakura matter-of-factly said, "If I were an Otsutsuki, I'd also prepare several backups just in case."
