Reassured by Chen Nuo's words, the Six-Eared Macaque finally went to search for water.
Chen Nuo looked at the scenery around him and couldn't help saying, "It seems I really made the right decision to follow the elder. If not for you guys, I might never have seen such beautiful scenery in my whole life."
Xuanzang laughed, "That's not necessarily true, Mr. Chen. Since you could make it here, it means you have a fate with this place. Even if you didn't follow this humble monk, you would probably still have found a way here by a twist of fate. It's your connection with this mountain that matters, not anything else."
Chen Nuo thought about it and nodded, "What the elder said is true. Such a simple truth, and yet I failed to realize it. I really am ignorant."
Xuanzang smiled and began to speak of the Buddhist Scriptures to Chen Nuo.
