"Then I'll trouble Lady Nuwa for her assistance," Chen Nuo said.
One wasn't sincerely seeking to cure an ailment, and the other wasn't truly ill, yet the treatment was still administered.
After the Healing Arts were completed, Nuwa withdrew her spell and looked towards Chen Nuo, "Shopkeeper Chen, how do you feel? Is there any improvement?"
Chen Nuo wasn't really troubled by any problems to begin with, so of course, he wouldn't have any issues now. He nodded along with Nuwa's words, "It's almost resolved."
Nuwa let out a sigh of relief, "As long as you're fine. I was worried I might not be able to cure Shopkeeper Chen's throat."
Chen Nuo smiled but did not reply.
That throbbing sensation occurred only for a moment, and afterwards, it did not return.
Chen Nuo even began to doubt whether that brief palpitation was a figment of his imagination. He wondered if it was Nuwa who had attracted him, or rather her motions.
