"Tap! Tap! Tap!"
The footsteps were crisp as they slowly approached from outside the door.
Inside, a bearded man shrank back into a corner with a look of intense fear spreading across his face at the sight of this unidentified man who had suddenly appeared.
He had no idea who this man was, nor why he was seeking him out.
But after the earlier incident, he understood one thing for certain: this man was not someone the likes of a small-time gang leader like himself could handle.
"Alright, everything's almost taken care of. This time, you'll behave yourself, won't you?" The man walked in and sat down in the gang leader's chair, speaking with an air of absolute authority.
"I... I..." Seeing the man sitting in his place, the Black Boss's face showed a hint of subservience, yet he dared not say more.
The presence of this man here likely meant that the dozens of his men he'd left outside had all been taken down.
