Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Mysterious Visitor

A knock at the door interrupted Evelyn's research. A man in a dark coat introduced himself as Mr. Blackwood, a local historian. He claimed to know about the house's dark past and offered to help her uncover its secrets. Skeptical but intrigued, Evelyn agreed to his assistance. Mr. Blackwood revealed that the house was built on ancient, cursed land and had been the site of numerous tragedies. Together, they searched for clues, finding cryptic symbols and hidden passages. As they worked, the house seemed to come alive, shadows dancing in the corners of their vision.
