Zong Shimeng called Lu Jiaxin in the evening, inviting her to go shopping together.
Lu Jiaxin heard someone mumbling in the background and asked with a laugh, "Sister Shimeng, who's playing mahjong?"
Zong Shimeng hadn't expected her to have such sharp ears. She turned to look at the mahjong table in the living room and spoke more softly without realizing it, "It's my mother-in-law, aunt-in-law, and cousin-in-law playing mahjong."
Lu Jiaxin knew how to play mahjong, as well as Pai Gow and card games, but she wasn't very interested in them, "Let's go horse riding on Sunday morning, shopping in the afternoon, and head back after dinner."
Zong Shimeng said tactfully, "My husband is on a business trip, so I need to head home early."
