In a boundless expanse where shadows flickered like stars, Magnus sat down in the void as though a throne had always been there for him. He leaned back, looking almost bored, but the faint smirk on his lips told a different story. The air around him pulsed with a strange, quiet energy.
A voice broke the stillness, smooth and female, but sharp enough to cut through the silence. "I thought you were told to stay far away from the boy and his sister."
Magnus tilted his head, the smirk growing into something more mischievous. "Oh, I wasn't planning on getting too involved," he said, his tone light, almost mocking. "Just wanted to test the waters. Maybe even extend an invitation to join our ranks. He'd be a great addition to the Omni race."
There was a long pause before another voice joined the conversation, this one masculine and clearly irritated. "Stop calling me that," the voice growled. "I didn't agree to that name for our species."
