Through the crack in the door,
Du Wei saw that the scene behind the Red Gate was completely different from the human-faced wall he had just witnessed.
What he saw this time
was a dimly-lit scrapyard.
Even the sky was a dull yellow, exuding strangeness throughout. Amongst the desolate land, many vehicles were parked.
There were horse-drawn carriages.
There were steam-powered cars.
There were also some tanks, and beyond them, modern vehicles.
However, these vehicles shared one thing in common.
The carriages were large.
They could seat many people.
And the bus that had been scrapped earlier was also parked here.
That bus was situated at the very top of a mountain of discarded vehicles piled up like trash.
There are many buses in the world.
There are not a few of the same model, either.
