Ruby's psychological resilience was so strong that it surprised Ybur, internally marveling that it was indeed worthy of someone who had reached the Ninth Rank; such mental fortitude was truly remarkable.
After understanding that she was a fictional character, she did not show much confusion; instead, she seemed somewhat excited by Ybur's comment of having "hope." She grabbed Ybur and asked about many things, such as future developments, changes in Ruby, the state of the world... one thing after another, and Ybur also learned through Ruby some of the historical context.
