In Durin's mind, the so-called places where young people can have fun generally fall into three categories.
First, the place must have enough alcohol, regardless of whether the young ones drinking have reached the legal age.
Secondly, the place must have enough food, as these youngsters are in their prime eating age.
Lastly, the place must have plenty of entertainment. Don't ask if it follows the rules, because young people are just like that.
So as Durin followed this little girl down the road, he was prepared to confront them once they were in position—if he discovered any of these kids were ingesting substances like Smiling Mushroom, he would take matters into his own hands and deal with it harshly.
Don't even mention being overly vigilant; Durin felt that whether in his previous life, this life, or possibly the next, the two types of people he hated most were human traffickers and drug dealers.
