The little boy led him to a rather dilapidated building, its red lights blinking outside as if signalling that this place was indeed what she had in mind.
Yu Xi suddenly thought of herself.
Of the childhood she endured, distinguished and treated differently.
She had always thought her life was hard and sad from a young age.
But there were many more people in the world, bearing different degrees of sorrow.
Yu Xi said to the little boy, "What's your name?"
"I'm Garen."
"Alright, Garen, what is your mother's name?"
"Jessica."
"You go over there and wait for me, I will go find your mother."
The little boy looked at Yu Xi blankly.
Yu Xi entered the building, men loitering by the side, their bodies covered in tattoos, smoking, staring at Yu Xi as she walked in amidst the loud music inside.
They were surprised to see a woman entering this place.
Some were already whispering to each other secretly.
Yu Xi approached the first man she encountered.
"Hey, is Jessica here?"
