Theo was sleeping peacefully on the sofa in the cool air of the room. He faintly heard the voices of his mother and father, but that didn't disturb his beauty sleep; however, all of a sudden something very heavy struck his face, like a metal bat.
His teeth clattered and his head spun as he fell off the sofa and screamed in fear, looking around frantically and soon seeing a face that seemed somewhat familiar—a red print had appeared over his cheek as he looked at his parents and began to cry like a kid.
Both Mary and Joseph stared at this scene in bewilderment and shock, completely frozen as they couldn't believe their eyes; they had only planned to listen to Lucian's problem and then send him away after giving a little money or something, but they never expected something like that.
