"Everyone's been getting strange text messages."
My eyes narrowed at the words on my phone. I quickly blocked the number. The sunlight lowered outside until evening fell upon the university. I watched as each passing student stared at their phone confusedly. It was odd to say the least.
I followed Akiko, Hina, and Eiko around the rest of the university and finished the tour. I tried to listen to them as they talked, but my mind was elsewhere. I was getting a bad feeling about everything. Nothing about this place made sense. My enrollment was unorthodox, every student was drop dead gorgeous, Akiko was holding my hand, and now these strange text messages were occurring. I wasn't sure what was going on but it felt like I was circling something big.
"Fudanashi, are you listening?"
We stood in a massive field, surrounded by university buildings which scraped the sky above.
"Yeah-"
Akiko was inches away from my face. Her hands were on her hips in a feisty manner.
"I don't want to see you ever make a move on any girl here at Kengen! If you're going to date someone, then do it in Tokyo!"
With each word she spoke, her boobs wobbled and teetered. I looked up from her chest and into her rosey pink eyes.
"Why?" I asked.
Hina laughed.
"Because I said so!"
I narrowed my eyes once more.
"But... You're not the boss of me. I can do what I want."
Hina laughed even harder. Eiko let out a faint giggle.
"That may be true- but-"
"Just because I'm a guy doesn't mean I'm dangerous."
Hina patted her on the back.
"You'll have to excuse her, Fudanashi. I think she's just scared that she might fall in love with you."
Akiko's face turned a bright red.
"That's not true! Never in a million years would I ever fall for him!"
"Ouch. That's pretty harsh." I said bluntly.
"You don't need to be so hard on him. It's his first day." Spoke Eiko.
Akiko's hands tightened into fists.
"Just don't cause any trouble! Got it?"
"I don't plan on it."
The three decided to walk me back to my dorm building. The university was so big that I was having trouble finding my way back.
"Do you like it so far?" Asked Hina.
With each step taken, the bells dangling from her skirt jingled. She was like a walking ball of sunshine.
"I love it here. It's just..."
My voice trailed off. I struggled to put my thoughts together.
"What is it?" Questioned Eiko.
"How come every girl here looks like a model? It seems like Kengen is enrolling based on attractiveness rather than academic achievement."
The three girls went quiet. I could see they were each blushing.
"Are you trying to flirt with us?!" Snapped Akiko.
"No! What kind of backwards flirting would that eve be? Surely you agree with me though, right? Everyone here is beautiful."
The three of them looked across the field as we walked. A brief moment of silence passed by.
"I guess you're right." Commented Hina.
"I never thought about that." Added Eiko.
By the time we reached the dorm building, it was night time. Yet the skyline of Tokyo kept illuminating the college campus. I opened the door and started heading up the stairs. Only to realize the girls were following me.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"You don't know?"
I crossed my arms.
"Know what?"
The three girls exchanged a glance.
"We're neighbors." Explained Eiko.
Somehow I keep forgetting that this is an all girl's school. I walked up the stairs nervously, the girls following behind me and chatting casually. When I stopped at my floor I watched Akiko and Hina head into the same room. Eiko entered a different apartment across from them. I turned to my door, sighing. Finally. I was alone at last. I opened the entrance and stepped inside. The scent of peaches filled my nose. Sitting in the common area was another girl.
Circular glasses sat above her apricot eyes. She had short blonde hair with a bun at the back. A fan was pointed at her in attempt to cool her down. Nervousness crept up my body as I noticed her clothes were tossed aside and on the floor. Sweat dripped down her neck and towards her large doughy breasts. An amber colored corset wrapped around her waist and led up to her cleavage. I watched closely as a bead of sweat dripped down her skin and trickled down between her boobs. Her legs were outstretched on the couch, shimmering with glossiness. She turned over upon seeing me. Her lingerie tightly clasped her ass, yet her cheeks jiggled as she moved. She perked up her butt and smiled as I stood in the doorway.
"Hello Fudanashi."
"Who are you?"
"Haru."
"What are you doing in my dorm?"
"I'm your roommate, silly."
As she talked I felt sweat drip down my skin.
"You weren't here earlier... And why's it so hot?"
"The air conditioner broke."
"Haru, where'd you put my ice cream?"
Before I could reply, another girl stepped into the common area. Her long and lustrous hair ran down her sides, a dark purple shade—the same as her eyes. Her dress shirt was neatly buttoned and creased. But her boobs were so big it looked as if her shirt were going to burst open at any moment. Thigh high socks ran up to her knees, a violet skirt flowing down from her waist. I could see a glimpse of her lilac panties underneath, embroidered with fluffy bunnies. Around her neck was a choker. She grinned upon seeing me.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Keiko."
She held out a hand.
"Don't tell me..."
"I'll also be your roommate."
I paced away.
"Why didn't I hear about this earlier...?"
"Beats me." Replied Haru.
Keiko walked over to the fridge and opened the freezer. She grabbed a container of Ben & Jerry's Marshmallow Sky ice cream.
"To much weird stuff is going on. The admissions committee told me I'd have an apartment all to myself-"
"This is a suite. There's three bedrooms here." Said Keiko as she pried the lid of.
I started to pant as the heat of the room consumed me. Everywhere I went it felt like I was set up to be in some kind of hentai 変態 or perverted doujinshi 同人誌. Something was wrong.
"Let me see your phones." I demanded.
"What?"
I grabbed what I assumed was Haru's phone from the coffee table. I pressed the power button and sure enough there was a text message from 'UNKNOWN', reading: 'Candidate no. 4998, you have been selected'. Keiko pulled out her phone to check but I snatched it out of her hands.
"Hey!"
The screen read: 'Candidate no. 4999, you have been selected'. My mind was racing with a million thoughts. Was this even a real university? Was I on some kind of reality TV show? That made the most sense. Maybe I was going to get pranked if I tried to do anything with these girls. Then I felt my phone buzz. I checked my device. It was another message from 'UNKNOWN': '欲望天邪鬼'. I didn't know what it meant.
But then things got more confusing. The room began to shift and contort.
"What's going on?" Questioned Haru as she dressed herself back up.
I stared out the window. A massive explosion hurtled outside. A cloud of debris and dust hurtled into the air, the sound of rumbling filling the city. Keiko dropped her ice cream. The buildings and sights of Tokyo became smaller and smaller. We were lifting into the air. I watched as Tokyo Tower vanished from sight and we were consumed by the sky above. It felt like a million earth quakes were going off. Pots and pans clattered in the kitchen. Glasses and pictures toppled over and shattered. I ran back into the hallway to find Akiko, Hina, and Eiko scrambling around nervously.
"What's going on?!" I shouted.
Akiko's face look pale beyond comparison.
"I don't know..."
I looked past her and to a window at the end of the hall. Panic jolted through my body. The vast vacuum of space was staring back at us. Stars twinkled and glistened. I ran down the hall and pressed my face against the glass. The rest of Kengen University's campus was also with us. Somehow, we were in space. My phone buzzed once more. At this point I was to drained of energy to question how I had signal or how the number was still messaging me despite being blocked.
