Perhaps it's true—I knew it was very risky to disturb two fifth-rank monsters.
But what? The fact that they had already wounded each other was undeniable.
Because of that alone, I knew their strength had weakened significantly from when they first fell into my trap.
And sure enough, what I had anticipated truly happened.
In a fraction of a second, I watched as one of the two fifth-rank creatures fell by my hand.
At first, I thought there was no way a fifth-rank creature wouldn't notice my presence.
But it turned out that the fifth-rank monsters had no awareness of me standing behind them.
Deep inside, I was thrilled to see that I had successfully killed one of the fifth-rank monsters.
Of course, I wasn't about to waste the opportunity to take down another fifth-rank monster near me.
Without mercy, I chose to slash the monster's throat.
Even my three companions, hiding behind the trees, were visibly shocked by what had happened.
