The bait was simple.
We act as complete novices.
Yeah, that was the plan. The best way to lure them was to make them believe that we were a couple of young masters who came out to learn and experience the world.
They already believe that we are weak and newbies to this whole thing. So, making them believe that won't be a problem. As long as they are dumbasses, they will act as soon as they see a chance.
The problem would be if there are any clever ones in the group.
I mean, no matter where young masters would usually go out with guards. These guards wouldn't always be visible. There are many times that families assign secret guards to protect their young.
If those adventurers knew that fact, then they might not act, not before they were sure that there were no secret guards protecting us. So, we need to show them that not only we are weak but also that there are no guards protecting us.
