Jiangli felt that he owed Fu Shiyan quite a few favors, so he took advantage of the situation to offer him some comfort.
Hearing this, Fu Shiyan's brows relaxed, "That's good to hear. I'll thank Lili on behalf of my uncle."
Jiangli gave a slight smile as he handed the birthday invitation back to Fu Shiyan.
The two of them stood by the bedside and chatted for a few more moments.

After an indefinite amount of time, Jiangli suddenly heard Xia Xin calling out.
Turning his head, he saw Xia Xin running over from the corridor diagonally across from them.
With an excited face, he said, "From a distance, I thought I was seeing things! Ancestor, you're finally awake!"
Jiangli propped his arms on the windowsill, poked his head out, and then raised a hand to give Xia Xin's forehead a pat.
"What are you talking about? I just overslept a bit. Why do you make it sound like something serious has happened?"
