The clerk led them to a room where a faint glow lit up the polished surface of a peculiar sphere, the centerpiece of the otherwise normal space. The room was big enough for a bed to be placed there, and some room still be left for one to walk around, albeit barely.
With a gesture that looked like it was practiced and implemented a lot, he hinted toward the sphere and stepped back, his posture straight as he said, "You may proceed. If you require assistance, I'll be nearby."
And with that, he was done with his job and without waiting for a reply, he left, his footsteps soft against the floor.
Valcroy stared at the sphere, his lips shaping an upward arc. "This is new," he said, turning his head toward Erik, who remained silent but inclined his head ever so slightly, urging him on.
"I guess you knew about it." He mumbled.
Valcroy stepped closer and placed his hand on the cool, smooth surface of the sphere. "Teleportation hubs in Stormwatch Empire," he said, not any wasting time.
