"Mr. President, your brother, and your nephew, daughter-in-law... they're here!"
The atmosphere had become somewhat tense when a White House staff member entered to inform them.
"What are they doing here?"
"I don't know, they said they need to see you right away."
Payden fell silent for a moment before finally speaking, "Let them in!"
Soon, a large group of Pat Family members were ushered into the President's office.
"Lanny, why have you come?"
Payden first looked toward a tall man who bore a resemblance to him.
This was his younger brother, Lanny Paden.
"Robbenett, the scandal about you is spiraling out of control, and if this continues, our family will be ruined, so we're here to persuade you to stop, no matter what you're thinking!"
As the President, almost everyone held a certain awe of Payden's power.
But Lanny, being Payden's brother, wasn't as cautious as others and spoke very frankly.
