The white light detonated in front of her eyes completely; in that moment, Ye Wanwan felt as if her heart had stopped beating. It took her several seconds to snap back to reality and start gasping for air.
"Wanwan, Wanwan, what's wrong?"
"Quick, call the doctor over, the patient has awakened!"

Sounds of varying sorts rose and fell around her ears as her mind was a complete blank, utterly clueless as to what was happening at the moment.
"Wanwan, how are you feeling now?"
The familiar yet anxious voice sounded right next to her ear, and it was then that Ye Wanwan came to her senses. She turned her head to stare blankly at the person in front of her, then opened her mouth and silently called out, "Mom."
Su Xiangyi, looking at her daughter who was staring at her blankly, had tears streaming down her face from anxiety. Then she hugged Ye Wanwan tightly, "You're finally awake; you scared me to death!"
