Soon, it was the second day in the jungle, and they had managed to travel deep within its boundaries. Due to this, they now became extremely picky on whether they would fight a beast or not, as quite often, they ran into only Rank A beasts. They knew there were significant gaps between the strength of C, B and A rank beasts, so they didn't even dare to touch them.
They had also run into a few groups of other students. Still, thankfully, usually, those students were either exhausted and avoided the fight, or Zion picked up on the students' approach first, and they all hid, avoiding them.
However, Zion had a feeling this luck they had keeping them safe wouldn't last much longer.
It was late afternoon, probably around 5 pm, and they had just killed a water affinity crocodile beast at a stream's edge. They sat to relax while Zion ate some of the beasts flesh with little nom sounds, boosting his water affinity to 40%. As he ate, he suddenly froze and turned his head towards the trees.
