Evelyn's mother recognized the man who had been the reason why the Softsnow family had been torn apart, and why her daughter had been thrown out, why her daughter had preferred abandoning her parents and her sibling.

Mrs Softsnow took a deep breath, and regained her composure, before she resumed walking toward Evelyn. She stopped in front of the latter, gratitude softening her features, and she spoke after looking at Evelyn for a while:
