Angelo paused, he thought he had overstepped saying what he did but Nikolai clearly hadn't minded if the Alpha was focused on this instead. "I'm not some weak Omega," He blurted out before he could stop himself, his eyes widening in apprehension.
Reminding Mafia King Nikolai who was only into women that he wasn't like the norm probably wasn't very smart. He expected consequences but none came, Nikolai just looked at him thoughtfully.
"You're right," Nikolai agreed, "You're not."
Angelo felt a shiver go down his back, there was something ominous about how Nikolai had said that. He had a feeling that he would still be getting the consequences of his words, so he wisely kept quiet.
Nikolai rose from the bed and started for the door, "Dinner should be here." It would be an early dinner but considering that neither of them had eaten all day, it could hardly be called early.
It was already dusk, the temperature dropping outside as the sky started to darken.
