"Yes!"
Guilingling said,
"The Human Race has been advancing like a broken bamboo, and they've been quite principled too—hardly any creatures outside the battlefield are harmed by their hands. Quite commendable indeed."
Zi Yao Xianzi said, "The practice of benevolence and righteousness is indeed good, for only thus can one hold the moral high ground."
Li Ping'an nodded and stood there, reflecting on the numerous marvelous uses of the Dao of all beings, such as listening to the hearts of all spirits. He seemed to space out.
A tiny, fair hand waved in front of his face.
Guilingling, in her crisp voice, said, "Qing Su went down below to fight demons! Master nephew, didn't you say that Minghe is coming? What should we do—should we call for Qing Su and run first?"
"No need to run."
Li Ping'an nodded slightly and said formally,
