Emmlyn just scoffed. " Lemme update you honey, the food you delivered to him had mushroom soup, and my husband is allergic to mushroom that's where you come in. " Emmlyn explained almost losing her temper.
" What, but I didn't know he's allergic to the meal he just ordered, I swear I didn't know anything. "
"I don't care if you knew or not, because only God knows how pissed off I am right now, I could literally sue you_" She state. Then sighed. "Just fucking stay away from him!" She ordered and hunged up.
Ashley was perplexed and also confused at how Anderson's allergies are her fault for coming up.
"Don't you think you were a little harsh on her_ I mean that's not you." Anderson state with a hoarse voice as he sat up, his back leaning on his pillow. Emmlyn sighed heavily and walked back towards the bed and placed the phone on the table. She sat on top of the duvee and held another pillow.
"I just don't like that's she's not careful with her work_she should have read the receipt for you to confirm, I even wish I was there with you." Emmlyn state.
"There, there, darling_ it's not no one's fault,plus I also ignored the taste when I felt it, I am blaming it on my ignorance. " Anderson explained.
He reached out and held her hand still on the pillow and rubbed the ring around her ring finger.
"Stop worrying, I'm fine now. " He assured her then kissed her knuckles.
She smiled. "But honey, if whenever you will be so busy at work, just tell me and I will help prepare your lunch. " She told him. He just nodded.
"Darling, I am reeking of sweat right now and I need a bath. " She state as she still had her yoga outfit.
"That's nice, I feel like I need a shower to_ how about we chill at the bath tub together, to relax the both of us. " He suggested.
"Fine I'll beat you to it. " She said then chuckled heading to the bathroom.
Anderson got off the bed rushing towards her as he chuckled.
After peeing, she flushed the toilet, washed her hands and stared at her reflection. She pushed her hair back with the inked arm, revealing her eyebrow pierce. "I am better than this, tomorrow I'll be better at my work." She told herself and switched off the lights. She walked back to the bed and sat on it. "Who was that on the phone?" Maria asked with a sleepy voice.
"It was Anderson's wife_she's blaming me for his allergies. " Ashley explained.
Maria sat on the bed as she covered herself with the sheets. "What! But how? " She asked perplexed.
"The meal I delivered at Whitecross electronics company_ he ordered it and he ate it, which had mushroom soup and he's allergic to mushroom. " She explained.
Maria just sighed. "Babe, it's not your fault, none of it is_you are good at your job... And if she is to sue you and I be your lawyer, you don't have any fault since you didn't know and plus it was not intentional, I will not let you be behind bars for something you're not even guilty of. "Maria convinced her.
" Thanks for being here Pie. "Ashley state then kissed the top of her hair.
" Babe, I want to tell you something. "
Ashley just looked at her listening. "Tomorrow is Sunday and it's the end of the month, we'll be having a family lunch, so I talked to my dad and his girlfriend and told them I'm inviting you over... " 'So will you come, they are eager to meet you? ' She asked.
Ashley thought for a while. " Sure, but I'll need a good impression to please your dad." Ashley state then gave her a quick peek on the lips.
"Oh, and something else, my Ex will be there, although he is now dating my cousin." Maria explained.
"Do I have to worry about that? " Ashley asked raising her pierced brow.
Maria just smiled. "No, don't worry about that, he knows I am with you. " She explained.
Ashley just smiled then held her and pulled her to lay on the bed.

Ashley was already done with her last shift. She was walking towards her black bike as she was calling her best friend. "Hello C, I need a favor. " Ashley state.
Claire was busy doing her assigned work behind her desk, as her phone was in loud speaker. "Yeah girl, tell me what is it. " She said after pressing answer.
"Maria invited me to her home for the first time, and I want to make a great impression_I'm borrowing your Lexus Suv, if you don't mind. " Ashley state.
"I see you girl. " Claire said proudly. "Do you have a suit? " She asked.
"Yeah." Ashley answered.
"Okay I'll tell my driver to bring it to your place. " Claire state.
"Thanks so much C. "
"You know I got you girl_oh and will you be free tonight, let's just hung out." Claire state.
"Sure thing, in my place. " Ashley state.
The call ended and she sat on her bike, after she had let her hair down, she then got a call. She got her phone out and saw it was Anderson! She hesitated to pick, but found herself scrolling to the green part.
"Hey can we meet up, we need to talk. " Anderson state from the other side if the line.
"Mr. Whitecross we shouldn't be talking, your wife made sure of it. " She state.
"Please meet me at Seven star hotel, I'll explain everything Ash, I'll be waiting. " He said then the call ended. Ashley just sighed, placed her phones in her inner pocket of her leather jacket, put on her helmet, started the engine and drove off.
