"Follow him!!" Lumi yelled, her voice filled with urgency as she jumped off Alex's shoulder, ready to chase after Liebbe.
"Alright," Alex replied, his voice steady but tinged with a hint of amusement. "I hope this cave has no other way to go."
With that, Alex began to sprint forward, his steps sure and quick, the sound of his boots echoing off the walls of the cave. Lumi followed closely behind, her small form moving with surprising agility. They navigated through the winding corridors, the air growing colder as they ventured deeper into the cave.
The walls around them seemed to close in, the flickering light from Alex's flames casting long, eerie shadows. They could hear Liebbe's frantic footsteps ahead, the sound of him scrambling to escape.
"He's not getting away this time," Alex muttered, his eyes narrowing as he picked up his pace.
