One of the Valkyries, a tall woman with dark hair and sharp features, exchanged a glance with the others. Her face was filled with both awe and concern. "We need to get out of here," she whispered, her voice tight with unease. "That's the Hero Leader... and he's not holding back."
Another Valkyrie, a younger woman with golden hair, nodded nervously, her hand instinctively moving to the hilt of her sword. "If he's really the Queen's friend, we might not be Valkyries for long if we stay here."
Ember's flames exploded in another burst, forcing Alex to leap back, but the Valkyries weren't focused on the battle anymore. Their minds raced as they weighed their options—stay and risk angering someone as powerful as Alex, or retreat before things escalated further.
"Should we run?" the first Valkyrie asked, her eyes still fixed on the battle. "We don't know what kind of trouble we're about to get into."
