Chapter 117 - The Inevitable

Chapter One Hundred-Seventeen:

Manu Kingdom

Liam's Residence

"I already did." She answered as she walks near at the window. "This place has changed a lot and King Harkan really did his best. Though one thing isn't change and that is the awakening of 'The Curse One'." she seriously stated.

"And how can the returns of 'The Curse One' will be prevented? If the very cause of his return they protect and let her live."

"Are you still thinking of killing her?"

"Yes and no."

Rishna looks at me surprisingly. "What do you mean?"

"Yes, I wanted to know who she is to kill her but then no because after meeting her I decided not to."

"Why?"

I walk near at the table where the collections of my wine were arranged nicely there, I took a glass and took a bottle of wine and pour it on it before I answered her. "Because of the glimpse I saw when I connected myself onto her."

"What kind of glimpse it was? Is that so important to change your decision easily?"

"Yes." I firmly answered and look at her. "Because what I saw has a big bearing on the future, a future that will change everything though…" I paused and drink my wine.

"What?"

"I really don't know how exactly it will happen but I am so sure of one thing."

Rishna crosses her arms into her front and deeply sighed. "I think I already knew what you would be going to say. So, speak no more. I do understand it. But it is inevitable, Galdur. And even the return of 'The Curse' cannot be prevented. Death will always follow."

Edelweiss Kingdom

Del Gazini's Residence

"Alright, so where is she now?" I curiously asked.

"That's kind of surprising when you've learned where she is right now."

I look at him a little puzzle. "So, where is she?" I asked anyway.

"She was living at the Human Place ever since she decided to leave our residence."

"Wait! She's at Human Place, then, is she a pure human?"

"Yes, and that is what I am going to explain to you."

"Alright, tell me. Because if she took care of you and almost rose you with Uncle Norward then, how old is she right now?"

"She's with me until I age at my one hundred years old."

"What!" I surprisingly replied. "Bu-but… then… she must have been dead a long time ago, right?"

"Indeed, you were right. But then because of a Witch, she stayed alive." He answered. "It can be said that her life was deceived because of what we did but she wanted that too. We took her opinion first before we made that spell. And even if she already decided to go back to the Human Place, she still continues to use that spell. So, to this day she still lives even a few hundred years ago."

"That's… kind of, weird for the human race." I answered. "Because if she had lived that long wouldn't the people around her be surprised? Not aging or changing and not even dying?"

"That… I can also explain."

My eyes shrinks as I look at him and I think I already knew what he had done. "Don't tell me, you still helping her with a Witch power?"

"Yes, indeed. I am."

"Oh," all I could answer.

"Anyway, I really want you to meet her." he said that cuts off my thinking.

"Indeed. I wanted to meet her after all what you just told me. I want to see and get to know her even more." I honestly answered that made him happy.

"Thank you!" he said and embraces me.

"Lady Siara?"

My thoughts suddenly disturbed when Wei suddenly called out on me and I was on our room waiting for my husband. Because after we talked about her mother figure nanny, suddenly Redmond came because he was needed to attend a sudden meeting at their palace. The reason why I am left alone and had some time to think about this void that I am feeling.

I couldn't explain it but, ever since I was awakened when I was suddenly getting sick for a reason I still don't know, there is something missing in me. That became a void, as if I am losing something so important but my mind couldn't even remember even if I try so hard to remember it. But to no avail.

I take a deep breath before I answered. "What is it, Wei?"

"I noticed that you were in deep thoughts. Is something bothering you?"

"Nothing. I just thinking of what I should bring as soon as Haimon introduce me to his Nanny." I just suddenly lied since Wei wouldn't understand what I am experiencing. "So, what do you think I shall bring?" I asked her since that she already know what I am talking about because I already told her what me and my husband talks about earlier.

"First thing is you should just be yourself my Lady. And then bring something simple that comes from your heart. That way, she can see how much sincerity you have for her."

I smiled. "You are so great, Wei. Thank you." I said as I hold her hands. "Somehow my anxiety has diminished and what you said really help me a lot."

"You're welcome my Lady. And it was always my pleasure to help you in any ways."

"So, you didn't tell her anything my Lady." Dealla stated as a fact and I'm already alone at my room now.

"She wouldn't understand it, so I choose not to."

"Then, why are you telling me this?"

"Because you are a Witch and you can at least help me out."

"I'm a half-blood. Half Vampire and Half Witch and there are some spells and magic I couldn't fully use or mostly I cannot use at all. So, I am not so sure if I can really help you."

"I know but at least you know my dilemma. Because this void I feel, it's hard to explain."
