Mrs. Pei was extremely anxious when she heard a familiar language, almost like music from heaven.
She turned around and immediately saw, speaking from the car next to her, an elderly lady slightly older than herself.
"I really appreciate your help," Mrs. Pei almost cried out in gratitude.
"It's no problem," Mrs. Xu smiled and nodded her head.
Her car had broken down and during the time the driver was checking it, she overheard Mrs. Pei's conversation.
The familiar language and the fact that they were compatriots excited Mrs. Xu considerably, and without a second thought, she initiated the conversation.
"It would trouble you to pass a message to the guard here. My son and daughter-in-law are inside, but I'm not sure exactly which building they're living in."
"Do you have their phone number? Or maybe they can come pick you up? It's quite strict here."
Mrs. Xu looked at the elderly lady in front of her, who was dressed expensively, clearly not an ordinary person.
