*Twelve Days Later*
'Ugh!' Arabella groaned in pain as her body crashed hard into a tree breaking her fall. She could already feel that she had multiple bones fractured as her femur was horribly twisted and her right knee mortifyingly visible to the naked eye.
Regardless of how terrible it looked, multiple cracks were heard coming from where she was injured. Looking down, she was still amazed how the slime worked. It would heal her of any injury that would take place on her body.
Numbing the pain and act as a catalyst in recovering her mana. She had a D grade mana disc however despite this, she was shocked with how fast she could absorb the mana around her. Not long ago she was a regular mortal and now here she was, on the second tier on the second array.
Such rapid improvements when heard could cause a storm in the outside world however she treated it as normal. At first she had thought that Orsen wanted to toy with her, be it mentally, psychologically, emotionally or physically however the more time she spent with him, the less he seemed interested with her.
He primarily focused on her growth which she worked nonstop. Her target was a tier four beast, a metird. These were creatures that resembled jaguars however they had a few key differences. Unlike the regular tier four creatures, these could assimilate elements into their mana disc cores making them extremely problematic.
Not to mention those that had such traits usually tended to have somewhat of an intelligence as they could think like a human in their teens. Coupled with their sharp senses, meeting one unless they had a deep foundation in the fourth tier or the fifth was extremely disadvantageous.
This one however utilized the shadow element, one of the rare elements for an individual to possess. Such an element was looked down upon, not because it was weak but rather it was related to the demons.
The queen of the demons herself was known for using this element which made it all the more problematic to deal with. Not only was the element rare thus making it difficult for people to identify its skillset, but also it was extremely detrimental to light users.
"Can you wrap this up? We have to start heading back to Rein for the preparations." Orsen pointed out lazily as he sat on a tree watching the fight unfold. 'You bastard. To make me face a creature that is two tiers above me! Are you trying to kill me?'
"If I wanted to kill you then you wouldn't be alive right now." Arabella knew so as she continued to grit her teeth. She would make brazen attacks on the metird which any sane person wouldn't even think of doing.
However she knew that with her slime and her odd mana disc, she had an edge over the metird.
*Three hours later*
The metird seemed exhausted as it gazed at once it considered its prey. Now it realized that if the situation kept on going like this, then it would be at a disadvantage. Trying to flee as it covered its presence with a shadow, blending well with the foliage around it, it started to make its retreat.
However Arabella gave chase. Orsen had already set a dome in place allowing creatures to enter but leaving was out of the question. The metird crashed hard into the dome's wall. It was perplexed as it failed to see what was restraining its movement.
'I finally got you!' Arabella thought in her head as she drew closer to it. Thanks to one of the capabilities of the slime, she was able to read the fluctuations of mana around her, regardless of how small it was and with the metird utilizing mana for its concealment, it was easily identified by her.
Seeing its hunter draw closer, it launched a surprise attack onto her. It seems that she had anticipated this however due to her movement greatly limited by her tier two, she was unfortunately unable to dodge in time however she seemed ready for this.
Manifesting a sickle, she was able to tear through the metird's head but she too suffered a major cost. The grotesque sounds of flesh tearing was evident as her left shoulder was completely fractured, her ball and socket joined was turned into fine paste with a huge chunk of her chest completely exposed.
Her heart was halfly ripped away as her neck arteries spewed blood all over like a fountain however a look of victory appeared on her face. If anyone saw her in her current state, they would think that she was a psychopath.
Such injuries would leave anyone at death's door however for her the slime immediately covered her damaged organs healing her in a minute. 'A minute exactly.' She had timed how fast the recovery rate was for the slime and it was infallible.
A minute exactly and for the pain to be numbed was exactly a second. 'How did he make this?' She mused as she felt the cool slime wrap around her body. It was both terrifying and perfect for her.
She looked at the core of the metird. It was still intact as it was taken aback by her play. It thought that she would retreat thus when she advanced, it didn't have the time to detonate its own core. The slime stretched towards the metird's chest before extracting it.
It was better than a Lesterion as it didn't require a light user to operate it. She could feel stronger creatures draw closer to her location. She had everything at her disposability, energy as her disc core was already filled to the brim during her recuperation, healing capabilities given her window was so large however time wise, she was lacking.
Storing the mana disc core into her spatial ring, another gift from Orsen she found rather bizarre. The presence of such items were already present it but what took her by surprise was the way it operated.
It wasn't similar to the ones she had heard about, those ones would tear through space just like the she had currently but that was where the similarities ended. Unlike those other ones, this one enabled her to directly enter the ring itself.
It was a world within itself as she was astounded by the field of storage she had. It could function as for auxiliary tasks such as storage or it could be used as a getaway should she be locked in a tight spot.
And once she would step out, it would take her either back to where she was or back to the palace depending on her liking. She made it back to Orsen who was casually petting a Felir, at first she was appalled by their appearance.
Having two appendages not to mention their uncanny mouths and appearances, they seemed godforsaken not to mention they lacked a tier. Their shadowy appearance was a sign of wary, making sure that no one would dare approach them.
What he needed them for? Security. The place outside of the dome was too congested with ravenous beasts thus he formulated these atrocities. They would roam the lands, making sure that it was well protected around them.
Any direct confrontation with them would make one regret of existing as they would never grow weary. If one was on the verge of death, then they would undergo mitosis and double instantly renewing their bloodlust and improving their flaws.
They had adaptability thus they couldn't be dealt with in one way not to mention they could assimilate the vitals of other creatures. To Arabella, they were worse than the creatures afflicted with demonic blood.
She had once fought with one of them, the result. She was facing twenty of them at the same time. Her mana attacks would pass right through them, their speed was ungodly not to mention they would formulate new tactics on the fly making it hard for her to catch one of them, let alone twenty.
This was a test Orsen had so as to improve their proficiency in battle. Whether they were alone or in groups, they would always come out on top.
"It seems that managed to kill it." Orsen said as he brushed the shadowy mane of one of them. "But don't you think heading back empty handed will be a bit of a ridicule to the prince?" Arabella was fearful as she heard this.
*Whoosh*
One of the Felirs managed to come back. In its mouth was a tier five mana core disc! 'Damn!' She cursed as she saw this. "Very well. Let's head back." He said as a golden light warped around the two.
…
"Please fill me up! Anhh-" The sound of a fair lady rang through the air. It was Sophia as her figure was completely bare. Right on top of her figure was Hedon who was pumping nonstop. "Very well!" He mused in glee as he increased his thrusts.
In a final motion, he grunted as Sophia tightly clung onto his figure as he made a mess of her. "Hah!" She panted as she fell onto the sheets beneath her. They were covered in sweat and their bodily fluids however her face expressed nothing but pure ecstasy.
As of late, Hedon had been trying not to squash this dainty little lady with her force. Sure he would spend more time with her as a test, gauging himself on how he could refrain from his natural instincts and so far, it was commendable.
Zayne had been pulling the strings from the shadows making sure that he would get hit jobs that weren't too drastic or demanding.
In a way it helped control his bloodlust as he started spending more time with Sophia. A form of attachment had started to sprout with her, the same that one would get when they got a new toy. His perception of beings remained the same.
Orsen's was that people were pawns to be used for his entertainment while his was that they were toys, easy to break and easier to replace. "I'd like to stay but I got other places to be." Hedon mused as he gave her a kiss on the forehead.
Her mouth had linings of his own cum and he wasn't planning on touching that. 'She was a dispensable toy.' He had made his conclusion as his figure disappeared from her line of sight. Sophia laid callously on the bed, her mind in a flurry of thoughts clouded by the pleasure that was coursing through her.
…
His figure reappeared back into the hotel for him to find the pair already returning. "You're finally back. And to think that you would have made such progress." He said as he looked at Arabella. She was subconsciously wary of the pair, wondering how such beings existed.
It was clear that they were not of this world. 'Gods? Maybe they had something to do with the crack.' The two went on without a care of her train of thought. "Don't you think that that is too good of a gift? After all the attention it would pull will be staggering."
Hedon posed as he saw the tier five mana disc core put on the table. He wasn't interested with it in the slightest as he picked it up before putting it back. "Well I know that you have been itching for a battle." Orsen said flatly as he brought out a purple mana stone.
"As for you darling, you don't plan just owning that disc without actually using it, right?" Hedon posed as he looked at Arabella. She had already known that hiding anything from these two was pointless. They would easily see through any form of veil she had on.
As if triggered, she immediately left the room in an unruly fashion. The two knew that it was just an act she had on for appearances that she didn't want to be looked down upon. Her temperament ever icy as always.
"I've arranged a meeting with Zayne, let's go meet him." Orsen said as the two left the hotel. As for Arabella, she went back to her own room and brought out the tier four mana disc core. The core shimmered in ethereal silver as it was suspended by a black slime.
'This is going to hurt!' She mused as she retracted the slime from her chest as she brought it closer to her heart.
