After her therapy with Christopher, Rayleigh took Isabelle for a walk. Yesterday, they returned to the same trattoria with Ane for lunch. The same waitress greeted them again, and once she realized that Ane was Isabelle's mother and Rayleigh's mother-in-law, she gave them a free dessert for the happy family.
The waitress said, "For the happy family."
Ane thoroughly enjoyed the experience and informed the waitress that she would return alone to engage in gossip about her daughter and daughter-in-law. The four of them laughed and ended the day after eating, going back home.
"Where are we going today, baby?" Isabelle asked, not demanding too much when Rayleigh took her out.
It had been two weeks since they arrived in Venice, and time was moving fast even when they were not working. One day it was still Monday, and suddenly it was already Friday, and people were starting to crowd in the cafes, restaurants, or the streets to get their weekend bliss.
