The leaves around me rustled, and my face felt the slightest bit of her touch. I did not know where was I, just that I was with her. Lilith.
The surroundings blurred at a rapid pace,
'Were we moving through a forest?'
Ughh, my head hurts.
"It's mana drain. A condition where you overuse your skills, leading to mana exhaustion." Without bothering to stop, she continued pacing; with me in her arms.
"Oh-"
I was tired, very tired. If that wasn't enough, a splitting headache continued to assault me through the way.
'Is this the life you've lived, Jester?' Having the time to drown myself in thoughts, I wondered.
But why am I being punished for what I did not do?
Why was Jester punishing me for what I did in the future? Was it that bad? I just wanted to save my sister…
