Hawks: "Dr Kyudai, the one who made the Nomu and Shigaraki into those unstoppable beasts."
Bakugo: "What about him? Isn't he rotting in a Tartarus cell with AFO?"
Hawk: "Yeah, he is."
All Might: "*groans* Hm."
All Might, can't help but get triggered whenever AFO or his cohorts are mentioned in conversation.
The former feathered hero rubs his head before speaking.
Hawks: "As you may know, the doc has a Quirk that doubles his life expectancy. As long as he doesn't mind being a cripple. He's just been rotting away while being kinda...immortal."
Izuku: "And the baby? What does he have to do with him?"
Hawks stays silent. The pause keeps the other 3 on edge, as they wonder what does this have to do with the critically conditioned infant.
Hawks: "I'll try to explain it the best I can. But...for every doctor or in this case teacher...there's always... a student."
Bakugo: "Student? Spit it out already!!"
Hawks rubs his face. Fully preparing himself for the explanation he has to spin ahead.
Hawks: "Turns out it all goes back to that day, at Jaku City. The doc did more than just make Nomu and revamp Tomura Shigaraki."
Izuku: "What else could he have done?"
Hawk: "*sighs*"

"Sir, he just rambles to himself about AFO. I doubt he'll have anything useful to say. Especially with how his Quirk works."
The guard in charge adamant towards Deputy Commissioner Takami about the old doctor.
Hawks: "We don't have a choice. This is the one lead we have to save someone. It's as simple as that."
The guard unlocks the cell.
Hawks enters.
Seeing this, beyond elderly man chained up behind a bullet proof glass. Drooping his head, as if in a position of constant defeat. His mustache hasn't been groomed in years since his imprisonment, wrinkles upon his face, and hair sprouting from his ears. But he was alive, still well, and was very coherent.
Enough to give answers.
From the shadow of the barely lit cell, comes a suited Hawks. Prepared for what he must ask.
Hawks: "I know you can still understand. So let's cut the whimpering old man act."
Kyudai: "..."
Hawks: "It was faint. Even from your destroyed lab, our systems, as old as it was, notice a signal that you sent. A message that you sent to a promising student of yours."
The doctors voice was hardly hoarse for his age, but was clear.
Kyudai: "My 'student'? I take it that he's been found out?"
Hawks: "...he's dead. And so is a woman. To what we know this student of yours promised her that her son could awaken a Quirk through an experiment that greatly resembles your work with AFO."
Kyudai: "...what do you know of 'my work'?"
Hawks, adjusts his tie while keeping to the subject at hand.
Hawks: "...This doctor was also responsible for a string of disappearances of children. These children happen to have been late bloomers in their Quirk developments. There is one baby that was found at the scene of the crime, in the frailest of conditions. As if he'd been born premature or starved since birth."
Kyudai: "..."
Hawks: "His medical records show that despite his infancy, this baby...is 5 years old."
The doctor smiles for the first time in years.
"Any reason to why this may be the case Doctor?"
Kyudai: "Oh I don't know, 'hero'. Shouldn't you have people smart enough who could figure it ou...!!!"
His speech is cut short.
Hawks: "Now we got you. Thanks for the assist. Enigma."
Right behind the deputy commissioner comes the Pro Hero - Enigma - Hitoshi Shinso.
His Quirk [Brainwashing], along with his support equipment Persona Cords imitating Takami;s voice, tricked the old man and his intellect to get to the root of the situation as they were pressed for time.
Shinso: "Now, tell us everything you know about this doctor."
Kyudai under the influence of the Quirk began to spill his mind. And what he had to say was shocking.
Kyudai: "He's one few student's I have mentored over the course of my life. While my work with All For One was paramount, cultivating the knowledge for the future of Quirk society has always been my priority. You could say that AFO gained his caustous nature from me. That day. The moment Endeavor and his lackeys invaded my hospital, along with Shigaraki, I had to ensure that my research. My own will in a way, must live on above all else. So I had sent all I had to..."
From then on the former doctor relayed what he had worked on for over a century with the world's most awful human being. From the defiling of corpses to create the Nomu, the study of One For All in All Might to modify Tomura into what was seen.
Even the stolen research of Quirk Destroying Bullet and the modifying of the Rewind Quirk from Kai Chisaki.
Something he was particularly proud of.
Shinso: "The child, what happened to him?!!!"
Kyudai: "From what I can speculate. I can only guess that my student had taken the sample of that poor girls Quirk I had salvaged, and modified to a point where it didn't rewind a person to nothingness. Maybe in attempt to achieve a form of do-over immortality. Either way, he had lied to that boy's mother about the experiment giving a Quirk. Only All For One, I, or those possessing One For All could know the means of transferring a Quirk. Perhaps our ways did rub off on my students more than I had thought. This boy, this treatment, tell me...was he born...Quirkless?"
Hawks: "Yes."
An odd smile warped onto Kyudai's face
Shinso: "Wait...my Quirk...it stopped!"
Shinso surprised at how much will power the doctor held in his old age to resist [Brainwashing].
Nonetheless, he kept talking.
Kyudai: "This treatment the kid went through. I can imagine my student used what he could, but made an error. This sample, it shouldn't have been used on a Quirkless individual. And now this boy is dying due to that. So simple, yet...so hilariously sad."
Hawks: "....what can be done?"
Kyudai: "...Oh well...hehe"
The doctor smiled again, but remained silent.
Shinso: "WHAT CAN BE DONE?!!!!!"
Kyudai: "Hehehe....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!"
Unable to be placed under mind control again. The imprisoned doctor refuses to give the heroes what they need. A deranged smile along with a terrible echoing laugh filled the cell. Leaving the 2 men enraged without an answer.
Kyudai: "THIS IS WHAT YOU ALL GET!!!!!! MY RESEARCH WAS REACHING IT'S BEST!!! SHIGARAKI WAS GOING TO BE PERFECT!!!!! NOW YOU COME TO ME FOR ANSWERS?!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA-*cough*"
Until the old man's laugh is cut off. His appearance begins to shift, his elderly form slowly becomes further decrepit.
The commissioner Takami was not surprised. Dealing with anyone associated with All For One, you have to expect not getting anything you want.
"Tell us. NOW."
Behind Enigma, is a retired Pro Hero - EraserHead. Shoto Aizawa uses his one eye to shut off the man's Quirk [Life Force] bringing years upon years of aging to his body.
Kyudai immediately began faltering. Within his body, changes would begin.
Heart disease. Incontinence. Hypertension. Stomach ulcers. Bone fragility. Degraded hearing and eyesight. Not to mention, further body wrinkles.
The accelerated aging brought upon many afflictions that had alluded the man for over a century.
Kyudai: "Pllll....plll...please...enddd...thiss..."
A dark stare came from Eraser Head. Aizawa had no remorse for the doctor that befouled his friends corpse for evil.
Aizawa: "Now. Or you die. Painfully."
Kyudai: "Aaaaahhhh.....*cough* *cough*...quirk..."
Hawks: "Say it again."
Kyudai: "...this experimenttt....there's a.....flaw...appears...to put this child...in this state...unlike the...others. Mus-mustt...have rewound them...and their Quirksssss...to nothing. So...the only...wwwway...to save theeeem...is"

The injured hero looks towards the infant beyond the glass with eyes of understanding and sympathy. All Might looks at his successor, practically knowing his feelings.
All Might: "Young Midoriya. We should discuss this."
Bakugo: "Wait. Deku, before you do anything, we should-" '
Izuku: "His name."
Hawks: "Pardon?"
Izuku: "The kid. What, is his name."
Hawks without skipping a beat.
Hawks: "Kazuto. Kazuto Utarou."
There where many things to discuss, so much to think about to this delicate situation. What his family and friends expect of him, what the world needed from him as All Mights successor.
But to Izuku Midoriya, there was a simple answer.
Seeing doctors roam around the room to monitor his frail condition. Deku places his only hand on the glass separating them and baby.
