Having thought of this question, Yang Yi immediately came up with a possibility.
Though it seemed highly unlikely, Yang Yi still promptly took out his phone and dialed Annastasia.
"Hi."
"Hey, um... is the Queen around?"
"Of course, she's here, right next to me. Are you looking for her?"
"Has she been there all the time?"
"Certainly, she has always been here. Is there something you need?"
Yang Yi whispered, "Uh, no, nothing at all. I just wanted to ask if she's alright. Um, that's all."
After hanging up the phone, Yang Yi said nothing, Kate said nothing, and Bonnie clearly had no idea what Yang Yi's call was about.
Only Yang Yi and Kate understood that, although it was improbable, the possibility that Xiao Ran could have run back and taken a shot at him was real. Therefore, Yang Yi made the call to check if Xiao Ran was still in Italy.
