Chapter 2 - Uzume

While I was looking at the words that appeared in front of me, which I believed were mocking me, I finished the cigarette in my hand in one puff.

As if I didn't have any problems, now I had some hansellations to deal with.

"Ahh right, I was already a mental patient with hallucinations"

Over the past years, I had already tried to collect a lot of evidence about the murder of my family and take revenge on my family's murderers through legal means, but ironically, the case I filed was dropped in one night due to the plaintiff's mental instability.

When I remembered this incident again, I tried to push the floating screen with the back of my hand, which I thought I saw, because I was drunk, but my hand passed through the screen.

Since I didn't know any way to deal with the hanisulation caused by excessive alcohol consumption, I decided to go back to my room and sleep some more. I got up from the edge of the roof where I was sitting and walked to the fire escape.

A few minutes later, while my hand was squeezing the door handle of my apartment, I turned my head and looked at the screen, which continued to follow me everywhere I went, with my eyes black at the bottom due to my sleep problems.

I knew deep down that I wasn't drunk and I was involuntarily afraid. Maybe I really went crazy. As I ignored the noises filling my head and entered my small apartment, the screen in the air entered with me.

This circle was my last line of defense, and I couldn't ignore it just opening up. I took in as much oxygen as I could, turned around, and pointed my finger at the sarcastic remarks that had been following me for so long.

" Why!! What do you want from me?! Stop following me!! Do I want to be stronger?! Nonsense! Do you really think I want to be thin "

Reflexively, I reached out my other hand to the counter behind me, grabbed an empty beer bottle, and threw it at the writings in the air. Beer bottle went through the writing and shattered into pieces on my apartment wall

As the beer bottle passed through the floating writings, the floating writings eventually disappeared. When I realized I had won a victory, I lost my balance and sat on the ground.

I was successful. I managed to destroy the words that made fun of me. I should be happy, right? Then why were my eyes leaking water? Why was I feeling sick

When I turned my head, I saw my image reflected in the almost forgotten mirror on the wall of my room. Tears from my eyes were sliding down my cheeks while I had the usual blank expression on my face.

I was thinking I should buy beer with all my money tonight until a screen blocked my view, preventing me from watching my own pathos.

[Congratulations, you are worthy]

"Why are you here again?"

This time, unlike before, the texts changed and responded to me.

In a universe far away from the universe where the world is located, the divine being who created that universe looked at a human planet he had created while sitting on his throne made of stars with boredom, thinking about what it would feel like to be a human.

God looked at people living by themselves, unaware of the size of the universe, and made a decision

God sealed away all his power and knowledge and was reborn in the body of a random human

About a year later, while the god, who was now a human, was crying just like a real baby, a tall, middle-aged woman with a beauty mark on the corner of her lips entered the room with mud walls and, smiling, took the god in her arms and milked the milk from the only goat he had. He fed God and put him to sleep with

The body in which God was reincarnated was the body belonging to the child of a family that lost its family during the war. When the god was about to die of starvation, he was found by a woman passing by by chance, perhaps thanks to the luck of the god that he forgot to seal before reincarnating.

This woman was a woman in her 40s who faced the difficulties of the age she lived in alone. The woman gathers the children who lost their families during the war and raises them in an orphanage made of mud she made with her own labor in the middle of a forest due to the conditions of the time.

While the seasons were changing rapidly, the little god turned 2 as a human and became a child who could walk on his own. God was celebrating his happiness with the other children when they heard that there would be meat soup for dinner that day, because in order for a meat dish to appear in that orphanage, the woman named Uzume had to have successfully caught a few birds with her rookie traps.

God looked at the hot water with a tiny piece of bird meat placed in front of him by Uzume during dinner, and excitedly dipped his wooden spoon into the hot water called soup and started eating his food.

God deliberately saved the small piece of meat for last, drank all the soup in his bowl, and stared excitedly at the small piece of meat at the bottom of the bowl. God took the meat from the bottom of the bowl with his little hands, put it in his mouth and started chewing. The woman named Uzume saw one of the children she raised happily holding his cheeks and closing his eyes while chewing a small piece of meat, and she started laughing with fun. Hearing Uzume's laughter, the other children turned their heads and saw how happy the little god was. The happiness of the little god soon spread to everyone and everyone in the room started smiling.

As time continued to fly by, the little god turned three years old, but today was not a good day for him. Uzume slammed the wooden door of the orphanage and woke everyone up. When all the children woke up, Uzume told everyone to follow her, so all the children started chasing Uzume deep into the forest. The children who were old enough picked up the children who were babies or could not run fast. As she continued running deep into the forest, Uzume heard voices coming from behind her and tried to go faster but couldn't, the voices were getting closer and closer.

Uzume clenched her teeth and gave the two babies in her arms to two 10-year-old children and told them to run straight until they met the red armored soldiers. The children were all astonished because they had been raised by Uzume away from the filth of the world. Hearing the words of Uzume, who was a god in the eyes of the children, the children began to run in that direction without hesitation.

While the little god was being carried by another person, he turned his head and looked at Uzume, who took out a small dagger from her long skirt and started running in the opposite direction of them. Seeing Uzume not smiling for the first time in her life was not something easily acceptable even for the little god.

After this incident, the little god managed to survive together with other children and was raised as a soldier from childhood. As time passed, the god quickly rose through the ranks, from a general to the king's vizier.

After living a long life, the god died of old age at the age of 111

As God sits on his throne of stars, he opens his eyes and looks back at his time as a human. The god's sense of self in just a few split seconds overwhelms the self that the god had when he was human, and the god quickly forgets what emotions are, but strangely there is a moment that even emerges under the god's sense of self, causing a god to feel desire.

God realizes that his own arrogance is beginning to suffer and takes a look at this memory. When God looks at the memory, he sees the soup with a small piece of meat that a woman named Uzume put in front of him when he was human. God wants to erase this memory from his memory because he knows that his divinity is damaged as time goes by, but a new desire emerges. God wants to reward the woman who makes her experience something different and relieves her boredom, just like the king did when he was a vizier, and he brings the woman's soul that is about to disappear and treats her.

When Uzume opens her eyes, she looks up and sees God, and she instinctively realizes that she died and was summoned by God.

God tells Uzume that she is a people of wishes. Uzume smiles and looks at God and says that she wants to live again and protect more people.

God rejects this request because even he, as a god, has rules to follow. Uzume tells God that she wants to be able to save even one person and that's all she wants.

God closes his eyes and, after considering billions of possibilities, realizes there is an opening he can exploit and accepts Uzume's request.

God tells Uzume that he can grant her wish, but in return, he asks Uzume to swear that he will not stop the person she saved, even if he chooses to kill everyone.

Without hesitation, Uzume accepts the god's request, and with a flick of his finger, the god sends Uzume to a destination outside his universe.

After Uzume leaves, the god asks himself why Uzume did not choose to become a goddess, before erasing her memories of Uzume. God is ready to agree to give him a piece of his divinity

While Uzume was rapidly moving through the universes, she was digesting the information loaded into her memory.

"Can he cut down a mountain by swinging his sword. Cool"

"What, gaining special powers by eating fruit? There are so many interesting planets in this universe."

"Poor kid. He lost his family when he was a baby and a fox was sealed into his body. I want to protect him."

Uzume slapped herself as she continued floating in space

"Don't think about these things, Uzume, you only have one person to protect now."

While Uzume was digesting the millions of memories loaded into her memory, she reached a blue planet from afar and quickly descended and came across a gray-haired boy.

Uzume swallowed hard and tried not to cry as she looked into the child's darkened and hopeless eyes. As the boy stood on top of a tall building and looked at people passing below, he heard himself say, "If I were stronger, I would be in this situation."

Uzume thought this was an opportunity and sent a message to Peter through the system.

"Don't worry, I will make you stronger and protect you."
